Be careful with how much trust you put into these reviews and awards, a huge percentage of them are not serious and are nothing more than a creative marketing trick to get you to buy hosting.
Reviews of existing customers are of course very valuable when buying any kind of product, and definitely for web hosting. You know this, I know this, and advertisers know this which is why they use fake reviews.
